Big deal. Isn't it easy to feel superior to an obviously ignorant person? This is what's called a straw man---presenting something transparently ridiculous as the 'opposition'.
From what Bush called "that damned piece of paper" Article VI, section 3
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.
A while back I dug around and found that Ms. Shannon admitted to writing this as a hoax and the editors of the newspaper had apologized for publishing it.
I believe. I believe that sort of thinking is bullshit crazy.
